# Israel's UN representative targets Türkiye's military presence in Syria

Danny Danon, at the UN Security Council session on Syria, showed a map and said Israel's buffer zone covers 0.1% of Syrian territory while the area controlled by Türkiye covers 5%, and claimed that Türkiye was following "Iran's proxy strategy."
