# In Ezine, a vehicle hit a pedestrian crossing the road, driver fled the scene

In Çanakkale's Ezine district on the Çanakkale-İzmir highway, 97-year-old Yusuf Çelik, who had gotten off a minibus returning from a wedding and was trying to cross the road, was hit by a vehicle and died at the scene. The investigation to find the driver, who fled, continues.
