# Under HSK decision, service points to become basis for judge and prosecutor appointments

Justice Minister and Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) Chairman Akın Gürlek announced that service points and point rankings will be the main criteria in appointments, with promotion, inspection and merit indicators reflected in scoring, and said the "east-west divide will end." The system will be applied with the 2027 Main Decree.
