# Nasuh Mahruki sentenced to 1 year 3 months; announcement of verdict deferred

Bakırköy 57th Criminal Court of First Instance convicted former AKUT chairman Nasuh Mahruki of "publicly inciting hatred and hostility" over a social media post about July 15, deferred the announcement of the verdict, and ordered his release. Mahruki had been arrested on July 17.
