# Card payments reached 2.99 trillion lira in August

According to Interbank Card Center (BKM) data, payments made with credit cards, debit cards and prepaid cards in August rose 39% year-on-year to 2.9904 trillion lira (TL). The total number of cards increased 4% to 478 million.
